Concern was on the land acquisition for the construction of the Border market and the one stop border post. Traders were worried about the land compensation process. The response was that government had already designated land for the Border market construction and it would not come from the people. There would be an addition of 7 more acres of government land that was awaiting Parliament’s approval.
