A week long training of trainers for Uganda took place from 27th – 31st August 2018 at Central Inn in Entebbe. The training was aimed at equipping the participants with the best training skills and knowledge on cross border trade.
Participants included officials from the border agencies like URA, Department of Immigration, MAAIF, UNBS etc, Trade Information Desk Officers (TIDOS) from the three implementing border points of Mpondwe, Goli and Bunagana, District Commercial Officers, officials from implementing ministries like MTIC, Ministry of Works and officials from COMESA Secretariat in Lusaka among other.
The TOT was conducted by a team of experts including Mary Mbithi, Loise Gichuhi and others.
