CAPACITY BUILDING FOR CBTA’S AND TRAINING IN CROSS BORDER PROCEDURES

Objectives of the Training
The specific objectives of the Training were;
- Guide and support the CBTAs to finalize and own their operational constitution.
- Guide and support the finalization of guidelines for management of the Trade Information Desks (TIDs), with clear obligations and mandates for proper running of the CBTAs.
- Strengthen capacities of CBTAs in various aspects critical for proper governance and effective administration such leadership, group dynamics, strategy formulation, gender balance, inclusiveness, dispute resolution as well as creation of effective collaborative linkages.
- Clarify on the oversight function of CBTAs including roles and responsibilities, as well as rights and obligations.
