2.0 OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING

The Objectives of this training were;

1. Create awareness on the Project’s ESMF and RPF to the parties involved in the implementation process.
2. Introducing to participants the institutional framework for Environmental and Social safeguard planning, management and implementation in Uganda.
3. Training participants on the integration of World Bank Environmental and Social. Safeguard Policies and Uganda environmental regulations in project implementation. 
4. Strengthening of Environmental and Social safeguard systems.
