Uganda GLTFP holds Awareness on the Cross Border Trade Compendium

The Uganda GLTFP held awareness on the Cross Border Trade Compedium.The training involved 83 women and 82 men.During the meeting the following issues were raised:

• The need to streamline and link MDA’s systems to facilitate movement of goods, that is, regimes governing movement of goods including customs issues.
• The need to harmonise travel documents especially for the small scale traders.
• The need to harmonise animal and plant health & safety CBT procedures
• The need to harmonise standards and certification requirements.
