3.2 Expectations from the Participants

The Moderator of the Workshop inquired from the Participants what their expectations were. The responses were;

  1. Reduction of taxes especially on small goods since this is one of the major problems being faced by the Traders.
  2. Expound on Civil procedures of exporting goods to Democratic republic of Congo (DRC).
  3. Clear working relationship between the Cross border Trade Association (CBTA) and Commerce.
  4. Know the relationship of MTIC, Local Authority & other government agencies in terms of managing CBTA.
