3.4.2 Streamlining CBTAs into a cooperative

;Members were concerned about theTraining received over a year ago about formation of Cooperatives, and nofeedback was given since the Training at Rider Hotel a year ago aboutstreamlining CBTA’s into Cooperatives. They reported that there has never beenany formation of a cooperative. The MTIC Team advised the CBTA to get intosmaller organizations which would make it easier for them to get funding. Theynoted that being in a broader cooperative union made up of Primary societiescreates more opportunities for training on aspects such as lobbying for fundingand investment schemes.
